Why volunteer at Hygiene Hub?

We collect and re-distribute hygiene and personal grooming items to Irish charities and non-profit organisations. In turn, these organisations give the products out freely to their beneficiaries. By signing up to volunteer with Hygiene Hub, you will help us achieve our vision for everyone in Ireland to have equal access to hygiene and household cleaning products.

Volunteering with Hygiene Hub is local to you, and flexible around other commitments. Our volunteers tangibly make a difference by supporting those who find themselves unable to buy hygiene products. At Hygiene Hub, we are rooted in our local communities right across Ireland, so any hygiene items that are donated, will be distributed to charities and community groups helping people locally.

Setting Up a New Hub

No Hygiene Hub in your area? Why not start a new Hub!

Bring people together to collect and donate hygiene items to those who need them. Work with local businesses to set up Drop Off Points and deliver products to a Community Partner near you.

Setting up a Hygiene Hub is a unique opportunity to gain a whole range of skills and experience, make new friends, and gain the satisfaction of leading and working in a team that makes a real difference in our community. Running a Hub can be an empowering experience and an opportunity to connect with people to make positive changes locally and nationally.

Head Office Volunteer

We are often recruiting volunteers to join us in our Head Office to support some of the behind the scenes work. This ranges from helping with admin, engaging with our corporate partners and even managing our website!

Volunteering with the Head Office Team is a skills-based specific volunteer opportunity. Time you give volunteering with Hygiene Hub is flexible, but you will be required to join monthly meetings with the wider team.

Volunteer opportunities with Head Office are for a minimum of 1 year.

Hub Volunteer

Whether you can give a few hours a week, or a couple a month, we are always looking for more volunteers to come on board to help with collecting and distributing donations, setting up drop off points, driving items across the city (or country!), sorting stock in our storage units, fundraising, and many other things. Ideally, new volunteers would have some flexibility in their day, or week to be available between the hours of 9am-5pm.
